Burnley captain Ben Mee says he is “ashamed” and “embarrassed” after a banner which read “White Lives Matter Burnley” was flown over Etihad Stadium during their match against Manchester City.

Mee added: “I’m upset that it’s associated with our club and it’s not something we want to see at all in this game.”
